Arnados, Tinos Island, Greece: a place of peace, sea and stone. The beauty and myth of the Greek Islands can still be found in the third largest Cycladic island (197 sq km and 114 km of coastline). It’s a mountainous island dotted with small plains and surrounded by beaches. Tsiknias, the tallest mountain, is 726 m high. Tinos (or Hora) is the capital of the island with 4494 inhabitants, out of a total of 9523 spread over circa 40 villages.

Arnados Tinos: lies 6 km from Tinos harbour, on a hill side at 440 a.s.l. It is one of the oldest villages on the island, a few hundred metres from the famous beautiful Kechrovouni Monastery. A pedestrian village with picturesque alleyways, arches, steps and fountains.

What Arnados offers

Arnados offers a wonderful view of the neighbouring villages, Dio Choria and Triandaros, the valley and the Aegean Sea with the islands of Mykonos, Delos, Paros and Naxos. A few minutes walk from the house, near the main square, there is a mezedopolio (a small tavern) with good food (try their home-made cheesepie and spinach pie). In the main square there is a kafenion (small cafè), where it is possible to eat and drink something, and to buy some food and other products. Along the main road (200 meters from the house) there is a nice taverna (‘Bee‘).
